The relationship of organizational foresight on organizational performance with the mediating role of organizational ambidexterity and moderating role of environmental dynamics
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of organizational foresight on organizational performance with the mediating role of organisational ambidexterity andmoderating role of environmental dynamics. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. The statistical population of the study is all refinery managers under the supervision of National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company. According to the sample size required for structural equation modeling, 250 samples were selected by simple random method. The instrument of this study was a standard questionnaire containing 49 questions. The validity of the instrument was assessed through construct validity, convergent and divergent validity. The reliability of the instrument was calculated and confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.882. The results of PLS software showed that organizational foresight through innovation ambiguity has significant relationship on firm performance. Operational innovation and exploratory innovation have a significant and moderate relationship on performance. The relationship of environmental monitoring on performance was also confirmed by the mediating role of exploratory and operational innovation. The relationship of strategy choice on performance was mediated by exploratory innovation and operational innovation. The vector was not approved. The results also showed that environmental dynamics moderates the relationship of exploratory and operational innovation on performance.
