Social factors that influence family cohesion in Hamedan

Among the factors that influence family cohesion, economic-social, sexual satisfaction and level of religiosity .The aim of this study is exploring the status of family cohesion in Hamedan and its’ effective social factors. In this regard, questions, and hypotheses have been proposed which include: Economic-social and family cohesionis what relationship? What does religion impact on family cohesion? Also, the hypothesis that the expected economic - social cohesion through marital satisfaction with family relationships have positive as well, religiosity is negatively correlated with family cohesion, have been tested. The method was survey and data were gathered using a structured questionnaire which complemented by one of parents. The survey population was all householders of Hamedan city and a sample of 379 based on cluster sampling were selected using Cochran formula. He results show also that the majority of respondents have moderate up to high religiosity. Results show that family cohesion in Hamedan is at moderate level.. High social and economic status increases marital satisfaction and family cohesion, too.
