The Role of Feedback in Crime Prevention Measures
Feedback is an integral part of any bilateral communication process. Feedback shows the amount of paths in each system. Different ways of feedback can be direct or indirect, or even by monitoring customer responses. In crime prevention, there are also community-based clients, which can measure the appropriateness of measures by providing feedback from community members. Specific criteria have been developed for appropriate feedback that can be helpful in responding to preventive measures. Paying attention to the changes in the organizations and the turbulent world today, especially in the structure of organizations, technology and manpower, is effective in providing feedback. Useful and effective feedback has the features that can be taken advantage of using these features in crime prevention.
The research method in this paper is library and descriptive. For this purpose, through library studies, the required documentation was collected and, with proper description and analysis, a logical result of the evaluation and suggestions was presented.
Findings and outcomes:
The result of feedback on crime prevention measures can be: corrective actions, continuous improvement and preventive action. By examining the issues raised, it can be concluded that there are many factors in the proper feedback of preventive measures such as the suitability of crime prevention personnel, the complexity of situations, the stability of operations and activities, the division of tasks between managers of different levels, the subjective ability of employees and managers with the environment and conditions, and It’s just as impressive that focusing on these features can bring feedback to the expected results.
