Study of Norm-Breaking (Syntactic, Phonetic, Lexical and Semantic) in Nahj ul-Balaghah
Norm-breaking means going beyond the language of standard and norm, one of the basic concepts in the field of stylistics. The use of this feature in the words of Imam Ali (as) has given a special distinction to his words. The present article, with the aim of showing this distinction, has studied the norm-breaking in the words of the Prophet in a descriptive-analytical manner. The main question is how to get out of the language of standard and norm in the words of the Prophet? According to a study conducted in Nahj ul-Balaghah, Imam Ali (as) has given a special prominence to his words by using the various capacities of the Arabic language and in this way, he has transmitted the transcendental knowledge to the reader. Changes in the meaning and role of linguistic elements, construction of new words, construction of new images of different elements in various formats, including symbols, etc., are the Prophet's ways of leaving the normative language and creating a meta-normative text. The presence of these features slows down the process of reading Nahj ul-Balaghah and makes the reader think and delay and creates a purposeful and effective reaction in him.
