Spatial justice in the health area is one of the most important dimensions of sustainable development. Sustained development can not be realized without a healthy population, and on the other hand, population health can not be maintained without a healthy environment and a strong economy. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to identify the pattern of spatial distribution of health facilities and facilities - Therapy in the city of Golestan province.
Methodology and data:
The research method used is descriptive-analytic and the data source is the Statistical Yearbook of 2011. Data were analyzed using statistical techniques such as Topsis, cluster analysis, and Pearson correlation coefficient.
The results indicate the uneven spatial distribution of cities in Golestan province in terms of health-care development. Gorgan is the highest and the lowest level of health-care development. The distance to the provincial capital is one of the most important factors affecting spatial inequality.
Space justice requires reducing the development gap between provincial cities.
