Identifying the Causes of Hijab Avoidance and Effective Methods of Propagating Hijab Among Female Students(Shiraz University of Medical Sciences

The purpose of this article is to identify the causes of hijab avoidance and effective methods of propagating hijab in female students of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences.

The adopted method is qualitative research method with thematic or thematic analysis method and purposive sampling method and then theoretical sampling has been used.

According to the qualitative research method in this project, about 40 female students studying in 11 faculties of Shiraz University of Medical Sciences have been selected and interviewed. The data analysis process was coded in the form of 6 categories, which include: general view about hijab, causes of hijab avoidance, desires and intellectual needs of women in the field of hijab, pathology of hijab, consequences of bad hijab and strategies to encourage hijab and finally solutions The effectiveness of propagating chastity and hijab was also analyzed and explored, and the core category of the research was " heartfelt institutionalization of hijab with emphasis on chastity."

Every plan and program to promote hijab and chastity should be aimed at promoting the cognitive dimension and persuasion of the audience by reasoning and also use gradual, long-term methods and away from coercive approach (methods and soft propaganda).
