Assessing the satisfaction and quality of life and psychological well-being of deaf adolescents in accordance with the theory of social timing

The aim of this study was to investigate the satisfaction and quality of life and psychological well-being of deaf adolescents and to realize that now and in today's society, not moving according to social scheduling theory can affect the quality and satisfaction of life and psychological well-being of deaf adolescents. For this purpose, 50 deeply deaf adolescents between 14 and 20 years old were selected by available sampling method and answered three questionnaires of life satisfaction (1985), quality of life (2005) and psychological well-being (1980). In order to analyze the data, descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation and multiple regression) with SPSS 22 software were used. Findings showed that psychological well-being had a significant relationship with life satisfaction and quality of life; Also, the multiple correlation between the variables was about 0.69% and about 0.83% of the variables of life satisfaction and quality of life can be explained through psychological well-being. Therefore, the results show that the predictive power of psychological well-being based on social scheduling theory is high in deaf adolescents and can predict life satisfaction and quality of life.
