Analytical study of Yazd Ikat motifs from a semiotic perspective

One of the traditional art of iran is Daraeebafi. The origins of this art can be found in Ikat. The uniqueness of this type of fabric dyeing and create a plan that is in motion blur. Some cities have already produced assets but today it is produced only in the city of Yazd is limited. There are currently a number of artists in Yazd old opacity produced assets most desktop and bed sheet and scarves is that they produce. In this paper we have tried to reflect asset worthy of revival in sports clothing provided. Sources used in this thesis is a library and research Given that the last word has been referred casual sports clothing But now, since the younger generation, we are looking for stylish clothes and yet comfortable sport another word for not exercising But a bunch of clothes can be used daily. The results showed that most production assets weaving in Yazd, as bed sheet, desktop, bundle, Lang (paper Yazdi) and curtain fabrics used and the most famous assets wrapper asset that is unique in its kind. The results showed that Yazd weaving motifs of assets are: Cedar, peacocks, diamond, stripes, clouds, wind, triangle and square. From the perspective of semiotics these motifs not only for form, but each of these designs, with themes that are rooted in the arts and culture.
