The analysis of psychological Functions of symbol of “wine” in Ibn Farez’s Xamriyye

The contents of this archetype structurally consist of conflicting mental structures and psychological descriptions such as generality, balancing, and spirituality. Besides, this content with symbolic figures has a specific psychological function in mystical texts. The symbol of “wine” in Ibn Farez’s Xamriyye considers as the symbolic appearance of the “self” image. The current descriptive-analytical research, based on the training of the analytical psychology school, attempts to present the psychological perception of the literary element “wine” in Ibn Farez’s Xamriyye. Projecting by Ibn Farez, this objective symbol with a dynamic personality psychology function indicates the poet’s psychological introspection in the direction of “self-actualization” as well as the integration with consciousness. Using this symbol as the compass of his challenges and psychological growths, Ibn Farez tries to achieve the totality and integrity of paradoxes of psychological images, the saturation of spiritual drives, etc.
