Faqih`s Vilayat-e Motlaqa in Political Writings of the Two Leaders: focusing on the historical-political letters of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei

This paper aims to analyze the two leaders` letters about the authority of the government and the Islamic leader written by Imam Khomeini, and his predecessor Imam Khamenei. The letters written due to some inquiries from Imam Khomeini and gathered based on Imam Khamenei's speeches in Friday prayers, once explaining the Imam Khomeini's viewpoints, illustrate the authority of the government and Islamic leader, Vilayat-e faqih, so extended. Explaining about these extended authorities, these letters emphasizes that if such authorities were limited, governmental issues and problems of the society as well as the country's governance would face many difficulties. Presenting these letters, giving explanation about them, and mentioning the viewpoints of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei about faqih`s vilayate motlaqa and supporting reasons are the points being mentioned in this paper.
