Designing a Model of the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Style of Managers and Organizational Commitment of Employees Mediated by Organizational Citizenship Behavior
The purpose of this study is to design a model of the relationship between emotional intelligence and leadership style of managers and organizational commitment of employees mediated by organizational citizenship behavior.
The research method is applied in terms of purpose, Applied and developmental, in terms of data collection, survey and in terms of analysis, descriptive-explanatory. Sampling was performed by stratified random sampling method. The statistical population of the present study is senior managers and employees of municipalities in the country. In the present study, Tehran and Bushehr municipalities were considered as a community and from among the employees and experts of municipalities in different regions of Tehran and Bushehr, as well as the central headquarters of municipalities, 400 people were selected as a sample, plus 80 managers of the mentioned municipalities in the sample. Were. In this study, Siberia Schering Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire, Bass and Avolio Leadership Multi-Factor Questionnaire, Allen and Meyer Organizational Commitment Questionnaire Podsakoff, Mackenzie, Morman and Fitter Questionnaire were used to collect data. To analyze the data, Pearson correlation coefficient, one-sample t-tests, factor analysis, one-way variance, LSD, path analysis using Amos Graphic software version 21 and SPSS 21 were used.
On the other hand, there is a significant relationship between pragmatic leadership style with organizational commitment and citizenship behavior of employees, while there is no significant relationship between transformational and useless leadership style with organizational commitment of employees.
The results of this study showed that the main hypothesis of the study, which states that emotional intelligence and leadership styles of managers affect the organizational commitment of employees by mediating citizenship behavior.
