Measuring Indicators of Urban Vitality in Informal Settlements (Case study: Seilab Qoshkhane Tabriz)
Paying attention to the indicators of urban vitality can improve the social-economic, cultural, psychological, physical, and physical dimensions, etc. of the inhabitants of informal settlements. Therefore, the present study was conducted with developmental-applied nature and descriptive-analytical method to measure and evaluate urban vitality indices among residents using SPSS software and multivariate regression tests, one-sample t-test and Kruskal. The required data were collected using library studies and field research, and the sample size was estimated to be 305 according to Cochran's formula. The results show that there is a significant relationship between the psychosocial index of the residents of the Seilab neighborhood of Tabriz and the level of urban vitality in this neighborhood using the components of children's recreation and happiness and cultural activities. Other findings showed that among the studied components, the psycho-social component with an average (2.43) has the first rank and then the welfare-service component with an average (2.18), the second rank, and finally the component. Physical-spatial with an average of (1.39) ranked third. Finally, it can be concluded that the situation of the components of urban vitality has not been the same for the citizens.
