Strategies for Reducing Cases in Police Social Work Units

The increase in crime in the world indicates the need for a firm and comprehensive determination to reduce opportunities and diminish criminal motives in individuals in order to reduce the severity of crime and crime in society. One of the factors that affect crime is mental disorders that mental health can reduce crime in some way and one of the ways to develop mental health in any community is to increase counseling and assistance centers, through the bridge between the flow. Counseling and family can prevent many injuries. The aim of this study was to identify the strategies for reducing judicial cases in the assistance units of police stations in Zanjan.

The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method, which has been compiled using the available scientific resources in this field with the author's analysis and arguments.

Considering the scope of activities of help centers in all police stations of Zanjan, it seems that the expansion of these centers in all areas, including crime prevention, re-socialization of actual and potential criminals, reducing court cases and the like is effective and a basis for direct social action. The police have created that it is appropriate to use this capacity at the top of police plans and actions.

Intra-organizational strategies of the police include approaches such as organizational reform and decentralization of preventive measures, improving staff training and awareness, developing police professional ethics, strengthening the organization's oversight of employees in order to gain public trust. Strategies such as community-based strategy, problem solving strategy, zero flexibility strategy, strategy of using information and communication technology in crime prevention and strategy of increasing trust are among the external strategies of the police to prevent crime and reduce cases.
