Identifying and ranking the effective factors to increase and decrease the motivation of the employees of the municipality of Region 1 of Khorramabad city
The main purpose of this study is to identify and rank the factors affecting the increase and decrease of employee motivation (Case study; employees of the municipality of Region 1 of Khorramabad city). The statistical population includes all employees of the municipality of region 1 of Khorramabad city in 1400, which was equal to 137 people. Also, a statistical sample of 101 people was considered as Cochran sampling method. A researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data, which has 11 factors of reducing employee motivation and 11 factors of increasing employees. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods (Pearson correlation coefficient, sample score and Friedman ranking test) are used to analyze the data using Spss 26 software. The results show that among 11 influential factors in order to increase employees’ job motivation, the appropriate job factor based on knowledge, skills, experience, interest with an average rank of 2.15 was selected as the first and most important factor to increase motivation. Also, among 11 influential factors to reduce job motivation of employees, the factor of discrimination and injustice in the payroll system with an average rank of 9.33 was selected as the first and most important factor to reduce motivation. The results also showed that the factor of increasing job motivation with an average rank of 1.53 was selected as the first factor and the factor of decreasing job motivation with an average rank of 1.47 was selected as the second factor in terms of importance.
