Predicting psychological well-being based on resilience and life satisfaction in women involved in the experience mourning City Shahrekord
Psychological well-being provides a harmonious and integrated relationship between individuals and is characterized by the characteristics of stability in life, peace, fit and harmony, and a sense of close connection with oneself, God, society and the environment. The present study was conducted with the aim of predicting psychological well-being based on resilience and life satisfaction in the experience of mourning in Shahrekord. The study is descriptive-correlation. The study population was all mourners in Shahrekord. The initial sample size was 38 using simple random sampling. The tools used in this study were psychological well-being, resilience and life satisfaction questionnaire. Findings indicate that life satisfaction has the power to predict psychological well-being but resilience does not have the power to predict psychological well-being. The mean of psychological well-being and life satisfaction variables is higher than the hypothetical mean and the mean of resilience is lower than the mean. Also, a positive relationship was observed between the dimensions of psychological well-being independence and life satisfaction in the experience of grief and the dimensions of psychological well-being with life satisfaction in the experience of grief. There is no significant relationship between the dimensions of psychological well-being and resilience in the experience of grief. The results of this study show that life satisfaction with the experience of grief can be used to enhance psychological well-being.
