Examining the relationship between social skills and self-confidence in runaway girls.
Running away from home is one of the maladaptive behaviors of adolescents and regarding its adverse consequences, it is one of the social damages of the community. Damage that could affect the individual and community's mental health.Meanwhile there are more concerns about the increasing number of girls run aways. Girls running away roots in poverty, divorce, extreme prosperity and freedom, sexual assault, addiction, the gap between generations and the conflicts between children and parents. This article examines the relationship between social skills and self-confidence and reduction of the escape of the girls aged 12 to 18 in Isfahan. The results showed that with increased self-confidence and social skills the amount of girls running away from home decreases.
