The Relationship between Organizational Ethical Climate with Emotional Intelligence and Empowerment Among Heads of Educational Departments in Branches of Islamic Azad University- Fars Province
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between organizational ethical climate and emotional intelligence and empowerment of heads of educational departments in branches of Fars province of Islamic Azad University. The research was descriptive correlational method. The statistical population consisted of all the heads of educational departments in branches of Islamic Azad University in Fars province, in the academic year 2016-17. 125 of them were selected by cluster random sampling. The research instrument consisted of Cullen and Victor organizational ethical climate questionnaire, Emotional Intelligence questionnaire by Golman, and Spreader Empowerment questionnaire, with appropriate validity and reliability. Pearson coefficient used to study the relationship between variables. Also, simple and multiple regression used for computing the predicting power of variables dimensions, and path analysis were used to develop a model for relations among variables. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between organizational ethical climate with emotional intelligence and empowerment. Individual and organizational interest, professional rules, and benevolence had a significant power to predict heads empowerment. organizational interest and professional had a significant power to predict heads Emotional Intelligence. Also, emotional intelligence had a mediating role in the relationship between organizational ethical climate and empowerment of heads of educational departments.
