Scientometrics Of Islamic Governance Based On The Web Of Science Citation Database

One of the challenges of governing societies is the lack of focus on the implementation of Islamic governance. Utilizing the foundations of a society paves the way for governance. Therefore, the goal is to scientifically measure Islamic governance based on the WOS database. This research is quantitative in nature and descriptive-survey in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the study is all scientific documents indexed in the field of Islamic governance in the web of science between 1552 and 0201 (at the time of writing - 1 February 0201). The retrieved record provided 835 documents (articles and non-articles). In this study, due to the importance and validity of the type of government, the researchers extracted the status of production of Islamic governance in different disciplines of the world, with the type of world language and the type of countries in the world. Findings show that the field of business investment, English language and Malaysia have the highest frequency. Studies have also shown that Iran ranks tenth in the production of the science of Islamic governance, which should be improved.
