Experience-orientation: An Effort to Reduce Crime in the UK Criminal Justice System

From the beginning until today, the criminal justice system has used various strategies to reduce crime rates. One of the most important of these strategies is the measures taken in the field of parole of convicts, which are aimed at reducing recidivism. Among the most advanced countries in this particular field, we can mention the British criminal justice system and the legal doctrine of this country, which will be a way to study the experiences of this country. The present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method.Results and The findings indicate that the measures taken in the field of parole in the UK criminal justice system can be based on the approach of the measures, the result, the type and nature of the measures taken and also the main component emphasized in each of them. Regardless of this theoretical division, it seems that despite the application of these measures in the field of parole, the recidivism rate has not decreased, at least in the UK, the most important reasons for which can be found in the politicization of actions and the lack of research approaches in this area.
