The mediating role of meaning of life and theism in the relationship between a person's attachment style and premature mourning in women with MS
The aim of this study was to determine the mediating role of meaning of life and theism in the relationship between a person's attachment style and premature mourning in people with M. It was done. The present study was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of the study consisted of all members of the Shiraz MS Association in 1400. Among the statistical population by available sampling method, 205 patients. Were selected and studied. Data were collected using the Meaning in Life Stigger et al. 2006 (MLQ) questionnaire, Premature mourning, Beck and McDonald (2004), Hazen and Shaver attachment styles 1985 (AAQ). After collecting and extracting data, participants' scores were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and path analysis. The results showed that there was a significant negative correlation between the meaning of life, attachment to God and safe attachment style with premature mourning (0.01) and a positive correlation between avoidant attachment style and ambivalent attachment style with premature mourning (0.05).The results of the indirect effects of mediating variables also showed that the meaning of life and attachment to God play a significant mediating role in the relationship between a person's attachment style and premature mourning in people with MS.
