Abstract:
This article is organized against the suspicion that the Qur'anic morality is based on the fear of hell and the desire for heaven as well as lacks rational support. By analyzing the motivational verses of the Holy Qur'an and examining the commentators' views, this study has tried to discover and extract the motivational dimensions with a psychological approach and the relation and position of heaven and hell. The results showed that this doubt, with its incomplete induction from the Qur'an's verses can reveal regular and transcendent motives for moral action. Instinctual tendencies, religious beliefs, social acceptance, worldly and otherworldly rewards, just behavior and finally the love of worship are the most important motivating factors from the Holy Qur'an perspective, which were extracted and explained in this article. At the same time, fear and hope are also inherent in human beings and have significant functions in the anthropological system.
