A Study of Psychological Factors Affecting the Tendency Towards Small and Medium Businesses In the Agricultural Sector

Abstract:

Agricultural entrepreneurship is defined as a person or group with the right to use or exploit the land or other related elements required for agricultural activity. The aim of this study was to investigate the psychological factors affecting the tendency towards small and medium businesses in the agricultural sector. The statistical population of this study is graduate students of Islamic Azad University, Rasht Branch. A proportional stratified random sampling method was used to select the sample. To collect the data, a questionnaire, and to analyze the data and test the research hypotheses, the structural equation modeling method has been used. The present research is a descriptive-survey study and can be applied in terms of purpose. The results showed that the psychological factors (motivation, individual skills, attitude, subjective norms, perceived environmental support, perceived perceptual dynamic and perceived behavioral control) are factors influencing the tendency towards entrepreneurship among the students who participated in the survey.
