The Effectiveness of Lutans Psychological Capital Intervention on psychological well-being and hardiness of female-headed households
Women heads of households are unable to maintain their health due to various economic and social problems and responsibilities; Therefore, in dealing with life's difficulties, they need to promote Hardiness and psychological well-being. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Lutans Psychological Capital Intervention (PCI) on psychological well-being and Hardiness of female-headed households.
The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test design and post-test with control group. The statistical population was all femaleheaded households who referred to Abasaleh Charity in Tehran in 2016- 2017. Based on the inclusion criteria, 30 people were randomly selected in experimental group (15 people) and a control group (15 people). The experimental group participated in 10 sessions of psychological capital intervention (one session per week), while the control group did not participate in these sessions. Participants were assessed using the Cubasa (1979) Hardiness Scale and the Reef (1989) Psychological Well-Being Scale.
Analysis of covariance showed that in the post-test stage, there was a significant difference between hardiness and psychological well-being of the experimental group and the control group (p <0.05). The results showed that the intervention of Lutans psychological capital has led to a significant increase in stiffness (p <0.05) and psychological well-being (p <0.05). Discussion and
Therefore, it is suggested that psychologists and therapists use this method to promote the psychological well-being and hardiness of women heads of households with the aim of their psychological security.
