Investigating the Relationship between Managers' Behavior and Organizational Commitment in the Productivity of the Staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of West Azerbaijan
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between managers' behavior and organizational commitment in the productivity of staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of West Azerbaijan.
The method of the present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-correlational in terms of method. The statistical population of this research consists of all managers and employees of sports and youth departments of West Azerbaijan province. According to the statistics obtained, it was equal to 197 people. Sample size and statistical sampling method of 185 people have been purposefully selected from formal and contract employees. Allen and Meyer (1990) Organizational Commitment Questionnaire with 82% Cronbach's alpha, Cronbach's Alphabet of Productivity Questionnaire 89% (89%), Mahdavi and Almasi Managers' Behavior Questionnaire (2015) with 89% Cronbach's Alphabet were used to collect information. . Pearson correlation test and multiple regression in 21Spss software were used to analyze the research hypotheses.
The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between managers' behavior and organizational commitment and productivity of the staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of West Azerbaijan at the level of 0.05. Also, the variables of managers' behavior and organizational commitment have the ability to predict the productivity of the staff of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of West Azerbaijan.
It can be concluded that employees with higher organizational commitment are in a better position in terms of physical and mental strength and adherence to organizational values, and organizationally, the high level of commitment reflects the desired organizational climate. Which leads to the recruitment and retention of employees.
