Investigation of individual and social factors among criminals and non-criminals
This study is conducted to investigate individual and social factors among criminals and non-criminals. Criminals with records held in central prison of Tabriz form the population. 62 prisoners and 62 normal individuals are selected as samples for comparison. This research is casual-comparative. In order to evaluate individual factors of moral evolution and life meaning, morality test of us and purpose in life questionnaire by Crumbaugh & Maholick are used while for assessment of family social factors, family measurement tool is adopted. Descriptive statistics and measures of central tendency (mean and variance) are used to analyze data. To evaluate the assumptions, multivariate variance method is employed while for evaluation of research questions, Discriminant Analysis is applied. The results indicated that individual and social factors are different in two studied groups.
