Globalization, Opportunities, Challenges of national and ethnic identities

In recent years, the term of globalization is one of the most applicable terms at internal and international economical, political and cultural policymaking arena of countries and also was the topic of academic and journalistic discussions. Globalization is indication of the extension of interactions between human and human societies at earth arena. The extensions of political, economical, cultural and social aspects of globalization process have affected human’s social and individual life from many aspects. Also this phenomenon has seriously influenced cultural and artistry boundaries of countries and caused for national identities face with fundamental challenges.
As a consequence of globalization penetrability of boundaries not only minimize the power level and national governing but also reinforce the sub cultures and cause their stimulus and provide supporting of centrifuge tendencies by preferring sub national identities. Because various organizations called humanitarian and keeper of minority rights exert tension for governments .At past, sub national identities had many restrictions regarding their announcement propagation, books and booklets but today the easily do them via virtual space. Globalization not only reinforce local self inform but also assimilate the different countries cultures by weakening the national identities: It means that the process of globalization have mutual applications which from one side lead the universe toward multiplicity by accepting the value system of subculture that result to outbreak and proposing the national identities in the world.: and from the other side influence other cultures by highlighting the dominant culture. Thus we can say that globalization like other phenomenon by itself has opportunities and challenges and countries and societies can gain that opportunities and avoid that challenges.
