The Impact of Police Productivity on Security and Investment

Abstract:

Productivity is one of the important elements of progress, using the resources efficiently. Police as a very important and vital organization has important tasks in the society such as internal security protection, creating a sense of security followed by investing more; so increasing the productivity of the organization is considered one of the most important necessities of society. Therefore it is necessary to perform some activities in order to increase the productivity of the organization. For this, security is one of the main factors that attract investment and increase organizational productivity. This study examines the impact of police productivity increase on security and investment in Iran. In this study, we calculated productivity and its impact on security and investment by using Malmquist index. The results indicate that an increasing in police productivity causes economic safety ratio and investment be increased. Therefore increasing investment in all countries, as the engine of economic development and growth is particularly important and necessary for economic growth, more production.
