Investigation and comparison of personality profiles of juvenile offenders in Bushehr
Delinquency of children and adolescents is one of the most complicated social issues that has been engaging in public opinion. From the beginning of the 20th century, the problem of juvenile delinquency, especially in industrialized countries, has attracted the attention of psychologists, sociologists, criminologists, psychiatrists and education professionals to prevent them from taking steps to increase and increase it. The purpose of this study was to investigate and compare the personality profiles of juvenile offenders and normal youth in Bushehr Prison.
The research method is descriptive. Sample size in this research is 40 offenders and 40 normal people who were selected by available sampling method. In this research, MMPI test was used to collect information. The data and information obtained through the t-test of two groups of students were compared.
Findings and results:
The results show that there is a difference between the D, Hy, Pd, Pa, Pt and Sc of adolescents and juvenile delinquents. Also, the results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups in both groups.
