Investigating the relationship between social capital and the feeling of social security among the citizens of Neka city

Background and goal:

The need for security is in fact one of the main needs of human beings and since social capital is the result of trust and social ties and the basis of normal behavior, it can play a decisive role in feeling social security and of course reducing harm. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between social capital and the feeling of social security among the citizens of Neka city.

This research has been done by survey method and the statistical population of the study was the citizens of Nekaei city between 18 and 30 years old who were 19000 and 376 of them were selected using Cochran's formula and random sampling method. The validity of the questionnaires was confirmed by thinkers and experts and its reliability was obtained using Cronbach's alpha formula for the Social Capital Questionnaire 0.82 and the Social Security Feeling Questionnaire 0.94, respectively. Statistical method of data analysis and SPSS software used inferential statistics including (Pearson correlation coefficient, regression and Friedman).

The research findings show that there is a positive and significant relationship between social capital and the feeling of security among the citizens of Neka city. And there is a significant relationship between the components of social capital and the feeling of social security. Also, the fourth hypothesis, based on Friedman test, the cognitive dimension with a coefficient of 2.26 is in the first priority,

The results have the greatest effect on the feeling of social security and then with a coefficient of 2.37 in the second priority and a relational dimension with a coefficient of 2.20 and a structural dimension with a coefficient of 1.43 is in the third and final rank with the least effect On the feeling of social security in the NAJA
