Future Study of Iranian educational sportFactors affecting the development of educational sports in Iran with a futures study approach
Educational sport has a special place in the formal education system. At this level, the highest intrinsic motivation, the largest number of active participants, as well as the most appropriate time and the most talented people can be seen. The purpose of this study was to map the future of educational sports in the country with a futures research approach. In this study, the cross-section analysis method was used as one of the future research methods. Using semi-open interviews with members of the research sample, namely sports experts from various fields as well as specialists in the field of strategic management, the initial variables of the research were identified. The validity of the data was verified according to Lincoln & Guba criteria and finally analyzed using Mick Mac software. Findings from the use of cross-sectional analysis method indicate that 5 key factors, namely the facilities and equipment of schools and universities, the required budget, education and planning system, physical activity culture and the competence of professionals are the most important factors for the future of sports. They are educated in the country. The general conclusion of the research showed that in order to develop success in educational sports, one should not look for specific and unique factors; rather, it is necessary to look at the issue from different angles and have a multiple view. In this regard, by providing practical suggestions, we can provide a platform to help design strategies and policies for strategic managers in the field of educational sports.
