Study abut the relationship between the level of education of the accused and the crime rate in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province
Crime is considered as a social phenomenon and one of the factors affecting the occurrence of crime is the education of individuals. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the level of education of the accused and the crime rate in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. The research was conducted based on the purpose of the applied type and based on the nature and design of the research in a descriptive manner. Data collection was done by documentary method using the information of the disciplinary incident system. The four crimes of theft, strife, drugs and fraud in the statistical population of the accused during 1399 in the number of 24,341 in cycle and less education, diploma, associate, bachelor, master and doctorate were examined and sampling by full census method Done. The results showed that out of a total of 24,341 crimes in 1399 in the four crimes mentioned, 34.5% in the cycle of education cycle and less, 32% in the level of diploma education, 17.7% in the level of associate education, 13.6% in bachelor's degree, 1.2% have a master's degree and 0.1% have a doctorate. In the crime of theft, the most crimes were committed with 38.1% in the cycle group and less, and in quarrels and conflicts, 28.5% of crimes were committed by people with cycle education and less, and 32.5% at the diploma level. In drug crimes, 41% of the crimes were in the group of people with cycle education and less. Only in fraud crimes, the highest frequency was with 29.3% in the level of associate education.
