With the emergence of the phenomenon of modernity and its consequences in the way of life, changes were achieved and in order to respond to new needs and adapt life to change, new patterns replaced the current activities and genuine values ​​in the lives of Muslims.Some of them were far from Islamic values ​​and concepts.Among them, we can mention the weakening and change of social behaviors in urban spaces.It should be known that the desired urban space should meet the needs of citizens and establish the conditions of physical presence and collective life.Achieving this quality depends on the presence of man and his behaviors and social activities.The present article has been written with the aim of investigating and pathology of common social behaviors in urban spaces and in order to improve and prosper it by using the teachings of Islamic urban planning.The research method in the article is a combination of interpretive-historical methods, content analysis and causal.The article first examines the concept of social behavior in the city, expresses the attitude of Islam towards this issue and then analyzes the harms of common social behaviors in metropolises and the factors of its emergence and the teachings of the Islamic city as a guide. And the doctrine is used for improvement and correction. Conclusion Reducing security in some urban spaces and weakening social solidarity and participation in commercial spaces are among the factors weakening the social activities and functions of urban spaces.Islami has provided a means to eliminate the above behavioral harms.
