The Effect of Mobile Based Educational Software on Improving Blood Pressure Management in Hypertensive Patients

Increasing prevalence of hypertension patients consider as a big problem in field of health in the world. It seems that mobile-based software can improve the blood pressure of patients with it. The purpose of this review study was to provide a regular summary of recent studies on the effect of mobile based educational software on improving blood pressure management in hypertensive patients.

In this review study, English and Persian articles based on the research purpose were compiled from PubMed, Google Scholar, Iran Doc, SID and Science Direct databases from 2009 to 2019.

Review of the literature showed that there have been few studies investigating the effect of mobile-based educational software on blood press in hypertensive patients. The results of all studies have shown the positive effect of mobile-based educational software on blood pressure in hypertensive patients.

Discussion & Conclusion:

According to the limited number of studies and the importance of decreasing blood pressure in patients, further studies on the use of mobile-based software on the quality of life of patients with hypertension seems necessary.
