The Role of Environmental Factors of Macran Beaches in Promoting Defensive Deterrence of Islamic Republic of Iran

Recognizing the current condition plays an important role in developing the strategy as it is impossible to plan for the future without appropriate understanding of the present situation. In doing so, to determine the environmental factors of Makran Beaches and examine their role in defensive deterrence of Islamic Republic of Iran, a questionnaire was developed. It was filled out by 48 experts in the field. As to the responses, two groups of internal and external factors were emerged. Twenty-eight factors within the six categories of natural (6), humane (4), economic (4), cultural and social (7), internaltional poplicy (3), and military (4) were emerged. The internal factors consisted of 9 strengths and 8 weaknesses, while the external one included 13 opportunities and 10 threats. The mean score for each factor was examined in order to determine its significance. The results of the study can contribute to developing a strategic design for Makran Beaches promotion in defensive deterrence of Islamic Republic of Iran.
