The position of the United Nations in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran
In the current global system, one of the most influential players in the global management process is international organizations.This issue is influenced by the importance of these organizations in regulating international relations, promoting the interactions of human societies, international legislation, the peaceful settlement of disputes, and the oversight of these organizations over the performance of governments. The only international organization consisting of all countries is the United Nations, which aims to create peace and tranquility in international relations and between countries. The Islamic Republic of Iran has been one of the first countries to become a member since the founding of the United Nations; Critical approach to the structure and actions of this organization by Iran and some other countries, in recent decades has been an issue that has been pursued in the foreign policy of these countries. Therefore, the present study seeks to explain the position of the United Nations in Iran's foreign policy; therefore, the main question is what is the position of the United Nations in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran? To answer this question, descriptive-analytical research method has been used using library collection tools and Internet sites. The results of the research show that from the beginning of the formation of Iran, there has been a revolutionary and radical approach to the actions and structure of the United Nations in the country's foreign policy, and this approach prevails over other approaches and strategies pursued , Has been far from a stable interaction.
