An overview of the socio-economic challenges of implementing IoT
Emerging technologies in the new millennium have influenced the evolution and change in human life. The Internet of Things is one of the most important global trends. It is clear that technologies, in addition to positive effects, also face challenges. Identifying challenges can help create effective solutions to deal with the negative effects. Therefore, in this study, the social and economic challenges of the Internet of Things have been studied and extracted. The research method is library method and documentary analysis. The selection of articles was done by purposeful sampling in Google Scholar and Infomedia databases and sites related to Danish ministries. The results show that social challenges with indicators of privacy and personal security concerns, the need for mechanisms for security, as well as information protection, the need for mechanisms for information and education and legislation, attention to ethical and human-centered aspects, concern Extensive government oversight is concerned with the misuse of data, attention to humanity and ethics when designing the Internet of Things, and consideration of the public interest in the government's strategy for advancing the Internet of Things. Economic challenges include the need for organizational change and concerns about the traditional administrative structure of companies and the non-acceptance of the Internet of Things.
