Abstract:

In this study, we examined the sensibility and body perception in the experience of architectural space in the traditional market of Kermanshah. The method of this research is qualitative and using the phenomenological approach seeks to analyze the representation of sensory and bodily perception in the experience of architectural space. The method of data collection is semi-structured and semi-in-depth interviews. The sample size was selected based on theoretical saturation logic and at the same time as the interviews, 16 people were selected, 7 of whom were women and 9 of whom were men. The data analysis method of this research is thematic analysis. The results of this research were presented in the form of a conceptual model in three states of substrates / conditions and the spatial and spatial position and position were presented in the form of 3 categories. Adaptation in the form of body surroundings and emotions in the security and spirit of the market space was presented. Kermanshah market environment includes the person's body with its shape and structure and gives security to the person's body and the person defines himself in the open environment with sensory and conscious communication, in relation to the past and also meeting human needs.
