Special approach of terrorist organizations to social media and cyberspace
Numerous scholars have considered terrorism as an important and influential crisis in the contemporary era, although terrorism is always less of a critical situation for some individuals or sections of society. If we consider terrorism as a crisis, we must ask whether the existence of terrorist groups will trigger a terrorist attack or a secondary attack. It must also be borne in mind that terrorism is not a crisis in itself. Only, situations that create crisis for society, governments, the media and their audiences. The primary goal of terrorists is not to recruit new members. Rather, fear and abuse are scattered in society. The media is about business-specific areas and the interests of their audiences. Crisis is defined as a threatening situation with a high impact on the emotional and organizational level, as a barrier to normal daily life, it should be highlighted that the existence of terrorist groups is not always clearly a crisis. There are only certain forms that they create. The media should report on such critical situations. They can do this in a variety of ways: by themselves, for the event, by interviewing the victims, or by designating a specific space to describe the political causes and circumstances in which a terrorist group exists. The research describes the relationship between terrorism and the media as "homophobic" or "parasitic" based on the number of articles and highlights that the media has made about terrorist attacks.
