A review of the book Curriculum Planning for Primary Schools in the Third MillenniumWritten by Ali Taghipour Zaheer

Considering the importance of elementary school in the educational system, this article examines the lesson planning book in the third millennium. The author of the book is Ali Taqipour Zaheer, which was published by Age Publishing House in 2018. In this research, the critical philosophical exploration method was used. The tool for criticizing the work was the checklist of university book criticism of the Humanities Texts and Books Review Council. Qualitative content analysis was also used for data analysis. According to the findings, the strengths of the book included fluent and expressive writing, the harmony of the work with religious and Islamic-Iranian foundations and principles. The weaknesses of the work were the oldness of the sources, inappropriate citations, ambiguity in trustworthiness in giving sources, lack of innovation and oldness of the content, lack of attention to the basics and accepted assumptions in the field of curriculum, repetition of many contents.
