Realistic and mythical manifestations in Dorado's novel and sociological analysis of the immigration crisis in this work, evoking the problems of Iranian asylum seekers and immigrants

Undoubtedly, the issue of immigration can be considered as one of the most challenging topics among the events of the second half of the twentieth century as well as the events of the twenty-first century, which cover not only various areas such as politics, society, culture, economy, ethics and family. It has made an impact, but its status and importance have attracted the attention of many prominent and well-known writers around the world to make the immigration crisis the main theme of their works. Among the emerging novelists of the last two decades, the French writer Laurent Godé should be considered one of those who has dealt with this subject. In this article, we try to analyze the consequences of the immigration crisis, analyze the realistic effects of Dorado's novel, as well as the mythical dimensions and symbolic elements in this novel. The results show that this work, although an objective depiction of the most bitter and tragic situation of suffering and helpless human beings, is full of purely realistic elements; However, like other works, these realist elements are so intertwined with symbolic and mythical manifestations that it is difficult to distinguish between them.
