The role of the media in the development of passive defense culture

 The purpose of this research is to investigate the strategic role of the media in the development of passive defense culture. It is determined by studying the topic of the research. The phenomenon of passive defense has become an important, vital and very decisive principle due to the increasing threats of the arrogant front and the propaganda and media attack against our country. Paying attention to passive defense in dealing with threats and reducing damages caused by the attacks of attacking countries is very important and necessary and based on rational rules, and should be done in order to prevent economic, political, cultural, social and security vulnerabilities of the country's vital centers, including Communication centers turned to passive defense. In this article, after explaining passive defense, we explain the role and position of media in this type of defense, and finally, the function of media in passive defense, as one of the important areas. And we explain undeniably in today's societies. The researcher intends to answer this question with a multi-faceted approach, what role can the media play in the development of passive defense? Answer and provide practical solutions.

 This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. In this research, to deal with the issue and answer the question, it is used to collect information with the library method and by using the sources, as well as using news sites and specialized articles.

 The findings and results of the research: 

considering the all-round threats of global arrogance against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the nascent nature of passive defense science in the country, as well as the lack of growth of domestic media, this issue is considered as a potential threat in the country's defense field, which is the only way out of On the one hand, the issue is the localization of passive defense in all fields, and on the other hand, the institutionalization and awareness of the society through the national media, and in this regard, the national media seems to be necessary in the period that is known as the media war. First, they should try to overcome the limitations of self-defense in the field of media, which is media and culture, and then take effective steps to implement non-agent defense.
