The set of communication, economic and geostrategic values of the Strait of Hormuz have given it a special strategic position that is considered by the world powers. Each of them is trying to expand its authority and control over the Strait. Therefore, the issue of security and geopolitical management of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran is a discussion in the security structure of the region. Is. In such a way that if the stressors in the Strait of Hormuz become a serious threat and endanger Iran's security, security deterrence in the Persian Gulf is related to Iran's security of energy passage through the Strait of Hormuz. In this regard, the question of the present study is that the geopolitical management of the Strait of Hormuz in the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, what are the political and economic consequences on the security of the Persian Gulf? The hypothesis of this study states that the Strait of Hormuz can play a military and defensive role to avoid the invasion of supra-regional forces and will be used by the Islamic Republic of Iran as a point of pressure on the global economy (if its interests are in crisis). Given the dependence of world powers on the oil of the Persian Gulf, cutting off oil from this strait will inflict an irreparable blow on their economy.
