An Evaluation of the Factors Influencing the Size of a City with an Economic Approach by Adopting a Dynamic System Model (A Case Study: The City of Isfahan)
Cities play a key role in solving the global challenge. The results obtained according to the model analysis are that the increase of 3000 thousand Rials in energy price and 10000 thousand Rials in water price, which directly change the per capita income and cause the population to decrease by 258320 and 1568590 people, respectively, compared to their normal state. On the other hand, the application of 40% fuel tax at the same time, which reduces pollution and increases the cost of living in the city, reduces the population by 214020 people
