Critical review of government criminal and non-criminal prevention actions and reactions regarding the crime of child trafficking

In this study, the study of Iran's criminal policy towards the sale and purchase of children to determine the type of criminal or preventive response to this crime, to determine how in the Iranian criminal law, the criminal policy adopted against this crime Therefore, the issues raised in this study, which has been prepared and compiled in a descriptive-analytical method, revolve around the answer to the question of what is basically Iran's criminal policy towards the crime of buying and selling children. The results of this study showed that this crime, along with many other crimes such as murder, assault on children or sexual crimes against children, their use in drug gangs and organ trafficking, leads to begging and theft. The main ones were legal, political, social, cultural and economic issues. Given the importance of this crime and the need to protect children and maintain public order, Iran's criminal policy has reacted to this crime in various dimensions and also seeks to prevent this crime by resorting to non-criminal governmental and non-governmental actions and reactions. It has been pursued through the executive and ministries, as well as non-governmental organizations, and so far much of this crime, which has flourished in the last decade, has been brought under control.
