Abstract:

Natural crises are always considered one of the most challenging events in human life. Regardless of the causes of the crisis and the requirements and necessities of their prevention, the proper management of the crisis is very important. Military forces and organizations, as one of the most important organized groups, can always play an important role in crisis management. This research tries to answer the basic question with descriptive-analytical method, what role or function can the military forces have in the management of natural crises? In order to achieve more favorable findings and results, the management experiences of Japan and the role of the military forces of that country in the occurrence of crises and their management have been used.The findings of the research show that military forces and organizations by playing a role in the four areas of "management activities and functions", "relief activities and functions", "security activities and functions" and "support activities and functions" can support the government. help in the management of natural crises.
