The Impact of Corporate Governance on Social Capital and Competitive Strategy (companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange)
This research aims to investigate the impact of corporate governance on social capital and competitive strategy in companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange during the period 2017- 2021. In this research, the statistical population of this research is made up of all the companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange, which were selected by the method of systematic elimination of 100 companies. The research method is correlation based on regression test and based on panel data. In order to measure the social capital, the statistical population consists of all the employees of listed companies, and due to the unlimitedness of the statistical population, 100 people were randomly selected as a statistical sample. The findings of this research regarding the first hypothesis show that corporate governance has a significant effect on social capital. Also, the analysis regarding the second hypothesis showed that corporate governance has a significant effect on competitive strategy.
Customers and shareholders are a kind of social capital for the company; corporate governance by creating a suitable mechanism can increase social capital and improve the efficiency of the company by creating innovation in competition with other companies.
