Most organizations use information technology to support and develop their organizational strategies and goals. This pervasive use of technology in organizations has led to their vital dependence on information technology, which represents the focus on the governance of information technology and its related issues. The governance of information technology is one of the appropriate solutions to create alignment and achieve Better alignment between business and information technology, which is achieved through structures for making strategic decisions in the field of information technology and monitoring procedures for these decisions, effective implementation of information technology governance requires a comprehensive framework, an appropriate governance framework that all Consider key management guidelines for IT governance. This framework can be COBIT, COBIT is actually a global open standard accepted by professionals around the world to control IT processes, a framework designed to control IT performance. and is used by government organizations and the private sector, because it helps to increase the sensitivity in IT processes, in this article, a simple approach to evaluate IT governance is discussed. The said approach has been developed and tested through the following steps: (1) highlighting the main needs of information technology governance according to the existing key methods (2) designing target approaches that integrate these needs and management principles use knowledge The current approach uses the STOPE (Strategy, Technology, Organization, People and Environment) perspective to combine and integrate existing assumptions, knowledge management principles as an added value, and 6 Sigma steps as a periodic improvement process.
