Investigating the impact of human resource quality on employee performance with an emphasis on the mediating role of organizational virtue in Saba Battery Energy Resources Development Company of Tehran
The present study investigated the impact of human resource quality on employee performance with an emphasis on organizational virtue. The method of this research was a quantitative research in terms of the applied goal, in terms of the descriptive and correlation method, and in terms of the method of data collection. The statistical population includes all the employees of Saba Battery Energy Resources Development Organization of Tehran in the number of 400 companies in 1401. The statistical sample of employees was estimated to be 196 people using the Morgan and Karjesi table using simple random method. Organizational virtue was measured with a 15-question questionnaire by Cameron et al. (2004), employee performance with a 37-question questionnaire by Lari et al. The quality level of human resources was 45.6%, organizational virtue was 68.4%, and employee performance was 70.8%. The results of the analysis of structural equations with PLS software showed that the quality of human resources directly affects the performance of employees by 25% and organizational virtue by 32%, and organizational virtue directly explains the performance of employees by 62%. Also, the quality of human resources affected the performance of employees with the mediating role of organizational virtue by 45%.
