An analysis of the political and livelihood of Susa in Proto-Elamite period
The Proto-Elamite period was formed between 3300 and 3000 BC in the second half of the fourth millennium BC., which can be considered as a revolution in political life and human life. Susa in southwestern Iran is one of the most prominent examples, showing all the important indicators of Proto Elamite period. The study and analysis of livelihood, society and social classes of Proto Elamite people living in Susa is one of the most important objectives of this article and why the society of Susa at the same time with the formation of urban communities and the emergence of the writing on the plateau of Iran and Khuzestan with a decrease in settlements. The existence of special data indicates a special administrative system and management technique, a change in the type of life as a class, and the emergence of social and political distinctions. The only special type of architecture indicates the bureaucracy in the kings of Proto Elamite period in Susa. In the present study, the authors try to review and finally analyze the political and livelihood of this particular area by using a descriptive-analytical method and collecting information by documentary method from the excavations of Susa areaa clear indication of the type of livelihood and life of the people of Susa at Proto Elamite period In some of the tablets obtained, the textual contents of the wages paid by more than a thousand workers for doing something are recorded, and on the written texts of counting, there are herds with a very large number of livestock, which shows a large community.
