Identifying factors affecting cultural leadership in universities Subject of study: the representative body of the Supreme Leader in universities
Cultural leadership refers to the practice of leading in the cultural sector and has gained significant attention in recent years, particularly in England. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the factors influencing cultural leadership in universities. The research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive in terms of data collection. The statistical population of the study includes experts knowledgeable about the research topic, such as officials, deputies, and managers of the representative body of the Supreme Leader in universities. A judgmental sampling method was employed, and a total of twenty-one individuals were selected based on the criterion of theoretical data saturation. Semi-structured interviews were conducted as the research instrument, and content analysis was utilized to analyze the interview data. Through the interviews and data analysis, fourteen components were identified, categorized into three main dimensions. Individual factors encompass personality competencies, moral and behavioral competencies, and specialized skill competencies. Organizational factors involve appropriate organizational structure, specialized skill training, evaluation and feedback provision, recruitment of capable human resources, conducive organizational culture, headquarters support, and coordination. Environmental factors encompass legal and political factors, socio-cultural factors, financial-economic factors, and technological factors.
